Starkey Evolv AI
Starkey first introduced a wellness concept in their 2018 Livio range and have further developed it in their Evolv AI range. Their research explores the relation between hearing loss and your overall health. Research has found that even older adults with mild hearing loss are almost at triple the risk of having a fall. Further research shows that hearing loss can result in cognitive decline, social withdrawal, and depression. Not only do the Evolv AI hearing aids help you hear better. They also offer tools to put social stimulation and activity goals in place. The technology available doesn’t stop there, the Evolv AI hearing aids also include a translation tool, allowing you to communicate with people who speak other languages via a translation tool in the Thrive app.
Motion Senser Technology
These hearing aids have motion sensor technology that will detect if you have fallen, and alerts someone on your designated contact list and send them your GPS location. Not only does this give you peace of mind, however it allows loved ones to feel reassured and at ease if you are out and about.
Thrive Remote Care App
The Thrive Hearing Control app works with the Evolv AI and Livio AI models to track your wellness, activity, brain health and also offers a language translation function. All versions of the Evolv AI and Livio have access to a function which allows you to find your hearing aids, iOS audio streaming for phone calls and audio, hearing aid remote control functions, personalised listening programmes, geo-tagged listening programmes, audio notifications, an adaptive car mode, and accessories for wireless audio from Bluetooth enabled devices.
Accessories
Starkey offer multiple different microphone accessories to help you hear as best as you can in all different sound environments. For one-on-one conversations, Starkey offer a mini remote microphone which can clip to your clothing. For larger group settings – they offer the table microphone which contains 8 built-in microphones and transmits sound straight to the hearing device wirelessly.
