Hearing Aid maintenance

Hearing Aids, like any high-tech device, need care and maintenance to ensure they are working at their best for as long as possible.

All Hearing Aids come with a minimum of 2-year warranty which covers breakdown, component failure, but not abuse or loss. Our H4L (Hear For Life) package covers more, speak to your audiologist about upgrading to H4L. If you are unsure on how to look after your specific Hearing Aids, your audiologist will inform you at your appointment.

How to look after your Hearing Aids

Avoid contact with hairspray and makeup
When applying any beauty products, such as hairspray or makeup, remove your Hearing Aids beforehand.
Protect your Hearing Aids from dirt and oil
Dirt and oil can clog up your Hearing Aids over time, and can result in damage or blockages.
Avoid leaving your Hearing Aids in places with high or low temperatures
Hearing Aids need to be stored at room temperature, and any conditions that are too hot or too cold can damage the device.
